Machinery Auction Information

Registration

A deposit of £200.00 payable by debit card will be held upon registration for each auction. If no purchase is made the money is fully refunded. If purchases are made, deposits will be credited against any purchases and any balance will be refunded. Any unused deposits will be processed for refund within 72 hours from closure of the auction. This will be charged to the card saved on your profile. Please refer to ‘Auction Info’ to view the bidding deposit amount that will be charged. Debit card refunds should appear on your bank statement between 4-10 working days after it has been processed. Please note this timescale is determined by the card issuers and unfortunately, we have no control over it.

Duration

• This timed auction is detailed in the auction details with a timer clock under each corresponding lot. 
• The timed auction will end in a staggered approach with lots ending every minute. This sale is subject to the 2 minute extension rule, whereby if a bid is received within 2 minutes of the closing time, the closing time will extend by a further 2 minutes and will continue to do so until the 2 minutes has elapsed on the final bid.
• Payment & Collection from the close of the auction.
• All items must be collected and paid for within two weeks of the sale completing.

Viewing

• All items are available for inspection or test drive before the auction. Any bid accepted is on the understanding that the bidder has inspected the item prior to bidding and sale.
• All lots can be viewed in the machinery yard from the week before the sale to the day of the sale.
• All lots are located at Ballymena Livestock Market, Unit 1, Woodside Road, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, BT42 4 QJ.

Sale Info

• Bidding for this auction is ONLINE ONLY.
• Throughout the sale buyers will be notified by email if they have been out bid by another bidder.
• The VAT status will be shown on each individual lot so please be aware of this amount.
• Please note that items will not be sold if the reserve price is not reached – you will be informed after the sale if your bid was successful is winning an item.

• A buyer's premium will be applied to all purchases.
• All accepted bids are contracts and are considered final and non withdrawable.
• In relation to online bidding the person posting the bids online has to be the person who has registered for the auction.
• No refunds, credits or storage waivers will be given once acceptance and registration is approved. 

DESCRIPTION

• All items are described and guaranteed as provided by the seller. No liability is taken by the auctioneer. 

Buyers Fees

• Small items –
  • Anything sold up to £20 – £3
  • Anything sold up to £1000 – 15%
• Large items –
  • anything sold up to £40 - £2.00
  • Anything sold up to £4000 – 5% + 2.5% thereafter

Collection

•  All lots are located at Ballymena Livestock Market, Unit 1, Woodside Road, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, BT42 4 QJ.
• All lots must be paid for in full before removal from the machinery yard.
• All lots must be collected within one week of the sale closing.
• Items which are not collected within this time period are subject to an additional storage fee.
• Daily storage charge of £5 applied if items not collected between auctioned speficied dates. The charge will continue until the value of the item has been matched in storage charges. Once matched the item will be sold in the following sale to recoup the storage charges for the firm.
